Billing questions
Is this a chat with a bot?
No. Every lesson is built in advance: the topic, the set of words, the rule and the tasks. The mentor follows the lesson script and does not go beyond it. Answers are assessed automatically - speech recognition and language models; there is no live teacher.
How does payment work?
Through our payment partner: bank card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal in some countries. Card details are stored by the partner, not by us. In countries with VAT the price includes tax.
Can I cancel the subscription?
Yes, at any time in your account, no emails needed. Premium stays active until the end of the paid period, then the account stays and your progress is kept.
Are there limits on Premium?
The mentor replies up to 300 times a day: that is two or three full lessons. The limit protects the service from overload and resets every day.
Is there a refund?
Refunds follow the rules of our payment partner and the law of the buyer's country: in the EU and the UK that is the statutory 14 days, as long as you have not started using the service. Details: Refund policy.
